Planning is underway for NAES’ presence at the 2009 General Convention of The Episcopal Church this July 7–16 in Anaheim, California. The Association will once again have a booth, #515, in the exhibit hall, where staff members and volunteers will be spreading the good news of Episcopal schools to all attending the convention.
Volunteering at the Booth
Are you at a school in the Diocese of Los Angeles? Are you interested in serving as an ambassador for the ministry of Episcopal schools and NAES at the General Convention alongside the staff? If so, we’d be delighted and grateful for your assistance. The Association will have two "Volunteer" badges for the booth to facilitate your participation. For information about volunteering for a few hours, a day, or more than one day, please contact David Schnabel, the Association’s communications and events coordinator. Thank you in advance for considering this gift of your time and talents.
Visit Booth #515
If you are attending any or all of the General Convention, we hope that you will visit the Association’s exhibit booth (#515) during exhibition hours. The exhibit hall is open every day from Tuesday, July 7, through Thursday, July 16. You will need to consult the final program for hours of operation. Staff members David Schnabel (July 7–11) and Dan Heischman (July 11–16) will be representing the Association at the booth and will be delighted to see you! The NAES booth at the NAIS annual conference has the reputation for being a lively and crowded spot. We hope that this will also be the case at General Convention!
