What to Expect from the NAES Online Community Launch

Coming together is a beginning.
Staying together is progress.
Working together is success.

– Henry Ford

The NAES Online Community will relaunch this month. This will impact all NAES members, and provide a powerful new means of connection and collaboration with peers at fellow Episcopal schools. Most crucially, since this is a benefit of NAES membership, all members will be automatically enrolled. Here’s what that means for you:

  • The NAES Online Community will transform how members communicate. The Community will help you reach other NAES members around the country. You can post a message publicly, or you can use the online directory to find a colleague and send them a direct message.
  • Members will be automatically enrolled. Since the NAES Online Community is a benefit of membership of NAES, all NAES members will be automatically enrolled. Many members, depending on job role, will also be automatically added to relevant topics. Most topics will be open to all members to join.
  • You will receive a daily digest email. For each Community topic in which you are enrolled, you will receive a daily digest email of the latest posts. This will only occur on days when there are new posts for you to view. You can respond to messages from the emails themselves, or by clicking the links to view in the Community platform itself.
  • You can easily unsubscribe from all Community emails. Community emails are sent separately from regular NAES email, so it’s easy to unsubscribe from Community emails without losing out on NAES newsletters and other informational messages.
  • There will be a few ways to post to the community. You can post to the Online Community directly at community.episcopalschools.org (starting next week). There you can view and respond to existing threads, start a new thread, or browse/share a resource. Once you receive an email digest you can also respond to messages directly from your email inbox.

We look forward to seeing you on the NAES Online Community, and please reach out if you have any questions! You can email us at communications@episcopalschools.org or call (212) 716-6134.
