About the Position

Grace Church School seeks to hire a leave replacement physical education teacher to support students in grades JK-8.  The position would start in August 2025 and end in December 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Pre-k through 8th grade Physical Education Teacher
  • Assistant Teacher Early Childhood, Lower School, and Middle School Physical Education
  • Lunch, Recess, and other supervisory duties
  • Coaching within the 5-12 athletics program

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (Preferred: Masters Degree)
  • Physical Education teaching experience
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Seeks to join a collaborative work environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft (Docs, Sheets)
  • Excellent grammar, organizational, and communication skills

Compensation

This is a full-time faculty position, and the expected salary will be based on the faculty salary scale, ranging from $68,000–$155,040, commensurate with education, experience, and total workload. 

Compensation for coaching is paid separately according to an hourly stipend rate.
