Position Summary: A Lead Elementary Teacher plays a vital role in providing a high-quality and engaging learning experience for our elementary students. This position requires a passionate and experienced educator who can effectively plan and deliver instruction, create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
Our Teachers are rock stars! They nurture a love of learning in a safe and supportive classroom. Our teachers:
- Develop lesson plans based on our school’s curriculum and values
- Measure learning based on objective assessments
- Show patience and understanding of student challenges
- Meet with parents to discuss student progress and concerns
- Prepare detailed report cards to inform parents of student progress
- Teach children to be good students, responsible citizens, and kind people
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required.
- Valid teaching certification in Florida required.
- Two years of successful teaching experience in an elementary school setting required.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
- Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning.
