Position Summary: A Lead Elementary Teacher plays a vital role in providing a high-quality and engaging learning experience for our elementary students. This position requires a passionate and experienced educator who can effectively plan and deliver instruction, create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.

Our Teachers are rock stars! They nurture a love of learning in a safe and supportive classroom. Our teachers:

• Develop lesson plans based on our school’s curriculum and values
• Measure learning based on objective assessments
• Show patience and understanding of student challenges
• Meet with parents to discuss student progress and concerns
• Prepare detailed report cards to inform parents of student progress
• Teach children to be good students, responsible citizens, and kind people

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required.
• Valid teaching certification in Florida required.
• Two years of successful teaching experience in an elementary school setting required.
• Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
• Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
• Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning.
