Early Childhood Education programs sponsored by Episcopal parishes and cathedrals stand as vibrant expressions of the Episcopal Church's historic commitment to quality education for young children.
Join your regional colleagues for a day of learning and connection. We will explore: key characteristics of Episcopal identity in a preschool setting; children's spirituality; the roles of school board and vestry; sustaining positive church-school relations; upholding the rector-director relationship, and managing governance. Practical tools and tips will be shared.
In Bedford, we will:
- Join the children and faculty of St. Matthew's Preschool for their weekly chapel service, held in the stunning Children's Chapel of St. Matthew's, followed by in-depth discussion of how Episcopal early childhood programs can nurture the spiritual lives of all students and their families.
- Hear from a rector and director about how they are building a relationship as leadership partners.
- Learn more about church-school finances and space allocations.
