The registration period for this meeting has ended.
Co-sponsored by the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES) and the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES), this institute will allow individuals interested in becoming the head of an Episcopal school to:
- understand more completely the full range of responsibilities of modern-day school headship
- learn the specific implications of Episcopal school identity for the head of an Episcopal parish, cathedral, diocesan, independent, or other school
- learn about the steps and processes involved in a head of school search
- explore how NAES' Principles of Good Practice for Furthering Episcopal Identity in Episcopal Schools and Principles of Good Practice for Governance in Episcopal Parish Day Schools can be brought to bear on school life
The institute begins at 5:00 pm (CST) on Thursday, April 16, 2009, and concludes on Saturday, April 18, 2009.

Cancellation and Other Policies:
Written cancellations received by fax, 212.286.9366, or by e-mail, djs@episcopalschools.org, no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, April 2, 2009, are entitled to a full refund less a $50 processing fee. Requests received after 5:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, April 2, 2009, or by any means other than fax or e-mail will not be entitled to a refund of any kind.All registrations are subject to acceptance. Registrations and reservations received without payment will be returned. Registrations are NOT transferable and cannot be split among conference attendees.
Any and all liability of NAES and/or SAES with respect to registration, reservations, cancellations, changes in the location or content of the program, and refunds is limited to a sum no greater than the registration fee paid. Under no circumstances shall NAES and/or SAES be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, the cost of transportation or lodging. Submission of registration and payment constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.
General Hotel Information:
The InterContinental Houston Hotel is the site for this institute. A block of sleeping rooms has been arranged for the nights of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 16–18, 2009.
