Early Childhood Education Program Governance: Are Your Bylaws Working?Thursday, March 3, 2016 (2pm - 3pm US/Eastern)Webinar
|
The registration period for this meeting has ended.
Description:
Episcopal preschools should have a school board whose composition, responsibilities, and relationship to the vestry or other governing body are outlined in a set of well-considered bylaws. Ideally, these bylaws assist the school and the parish in fulfilling their respective and joint responsibilities in service of the preschool's mission, programs, and financial sustainability. We will take a look at the most important components of ECE program bylaws, such as the role and composition of the school board and the key responsibilities of rector, vestry, board chair, and director.
