Episcopal school leaders are asked to be on the lookout for the 2009 Database Update Form that is being mailed to all schools and school exploration committees on May 1, 2009. The deadline for the form’s return to NAES is June 1, 2009. The form, prepopulated with current NAES database information about each school, is being sent to the school’s “Directory Contact” as recorded in the NAES database. At most schools this is the head of school.
The full completion and return of the form is particularly important this year as the Association will use the enrollment and financial aid data you supply and your answer to the new faculty/staff benefits question to prepare materials for distribution at the General Convention of The Episcopal Church in July. Questions regarding the religious, social, economic, and racial make-up of Episcopal schools and staff numbers and compensation are among those most asked of NAES staff members at the Association’s exhibit hall booth. You and the NAES staff know that the answers to these questions are filled with Good News, but the Association can only share with the public what schools share with it. So please, take a few minutes to complete fully the questionnaire and to return it to NAES as soon as possible.
