The theme for the 2004-2005 Episcopal Schools Celebration (ESC) will be that of Biennial Conference 2004: “Whose Service is Perfect Freedom.” A resource brochure (containing facts and figures about Episcopal schools and suggested readings, hymns and order of service) will be sent at the beginning of August to all heads of school and school exploration committee chairs and to all rectors and senior chaplains at member programs. A poster will be sent to the head of school/committee chair all member programs.

James 2:14-17
Mark 9:33-37
ESC will b observed the week beginning Sunday, October 3, 2004. Alternatively, programs may transfer it to their patronal or founder’s day festival. Some programs schedule ESC to coincide with their re-enrollment period.
No matter when programs observe ESC, NAES hopes that programs will take this opportunity to celebrate their ministry and that of the over 1,000 school and school exploration committees that make up the Episcopal school community.
