Registration for Biennial Conference 2008 opens at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, May 8, 2008.
Biennial Conference 2008, "Last of All and Servant of All," will take place November 6–8, 2008, at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina in Tampa, Florida. The Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church, will preside and preach at the Opening Eucharist on Thursday, November 6. Parker J, Palmer, the renowned education thinker and author, will offer three plenary addresses and two limited seating workshops during the conference.
Biennial Conference, held in the fall of even number calendar years, is the premier gathering of Episcopal school leaders from around the Episcopal Church, as well as a small but growing number of leaders from other parts of the Anglican Communion. The Conference’s professional development opportunities are designed to support and strengthen the leadership and governance of our schools and the articulation of their Episcopal identity. All of this is for the ultimate benefit of the students they educate.
