Rector

Saint David’s is a warm, welcoming, growing, and increasingly diverse Christian community that believes in the power of God to transform lives and change the world. We are open and welcoming to all — race, income, political affiliation (or lack thereof), age, gender, and sexual orientation are NOT barriers to inclusion. We are committed to building up the justice-filled world Jesus taught his disciples to hope and live for. We believe that the Holy Spirit calls us to care for one another, to pray, study, worship, and celebrate.

St. David’s liturgical style blends traditional and modern elements forming a welcoming and reverent worship experience. There are two Sunday morning services that differ in style with each fostering meaningful connection through ritual and community while maintaining a “down-to-earth” sensibility. We also have a weekday children’s chapel for our day school community.

We seek an effective communicator whose sermons “tell a story” and connect scripture with the world around us. We anticipate calling a rector who will collaborate enthusiastically within and beyond the parish. Our rector should be inspirational and visionary, encouraging St. David’s to move into the future with purpose, while sharing God’s love with everyone. Our rector serves as president of the board of directors for the day school and chaplain of the school.
